Notice of a Shortened Nomination Process

The SelectBoard of The Town of Andover hereby give notice that they have ordered, pursuant to 30A-M.R.S.A 2528 (4)(E) that a shortened nomination process will be used to fill a vacancy on the Board of Selectmen/ 1 year term.

The schedule for nominations will be as follows-

Nomination papers will be available on Wednesday July 17th at 1:00 p.m. Signed nomination papers must be returned to the Clerk by the close of business hours on August 6th. Any questions regarding the nomination process shall be directed to the Town Clerk at 392-3302 or in person at the Town Office.

The Election will be held on Tuesday September 10th.

Andover’s polling place is The Andover Town Hall- 24 Elm Street.
